Background: Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is a painful disorder characterized by facial pain. It is the most identified type of face pain. Aim: Review the best radiological angels that easily demonstrate foramen ovale during trigeminal RFA. Patients and methods: This was a cross-sectional investigation of 50 cases planned to be conducted at Al-Azhar University Hospitals and Cairo Governorate Hospitals. Results: The sub-mental angle in the investigation population varied from 10 - 30, with mean ± standard deviation = 15.54 ± 3.42. The Oblique angle in the investigation population varied from 7 to 27 with mean ± standard deviation = 16.4 ± 4.15. The number of patients who had facial numbness in the study population was 8 (16%) and 8 (16%) with masseter weakness. There was no significant correlation between foramen ovale visualization and patient characteristics (p >.05). Conclusion: The sub-mental angle in our study population varied from 10 to 30 with mean ± SD = 15.54 ± 3.42. The oblique angle varied from 7 to 27 with mean ± SD = 16.4 ± 4.15. 16% of patients experienced facial numbness, and 16% had masseter weakness.
